Samhain: Ritual Sound Bath
26 October 24
Service Description
Samhain is a Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the "darker half" of the year. Traditionally, it is celebrated from 31 October to 1 November, as the Celtic day began and ended at sunset. This is about halfway between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice. It is that time of the year again where we gather together to hold the space to be the most authentic versions of ourselves. It is a special time of the year.... Samhain. The start of the dark, withdrawing, reflective and deeply inner nurturing phase of the Goddess wheel of the year. I will be inviting you to celebrate and remember those who have passed over, we will discuss what it means to truly let go and grow from the release no matter how painful the passage was, we will meditate on impermanence and the rebirth of ourselves as we pass through another year. We will of course be seeding our intentions and talking about what the coming months will hold for us all. We look forward to welcoming you back to celebrate this special sabbat ... it is going to be a powerful celebration using sacred sound and meditation to raise the energy. This is my most favourite of all the sacred ritual times. Please bring an open heart, a notebook, anything you wish to share with the group... music or poetry. Please dress up if you wish… this is the season of your dark expression. So be creative if you wish… wear your Halloween costume, ritual attire or just comfy clothes. Your comfort is the most important thing. Please bring: * Yoga Mat or something to relax on. * Blanket And Pillow... anything to build a comfortable nest to relax in. * Eye pillow or eye mask if you would like * Bottle of water * Note pad and pen * Any Aura sprays or crystals you use for meditation and journeying * A photo or memento of a loved one who has passed over to place on the altar. Any questions please get in touch. Confirmation is important. This is a non refundable event. Much love Joanne
